Science of music on display at MOSH
Utilizing modern music technology, producer and percussionist Matt Kilmer will illustrate how computers can be used outside the recording studio, live and in real time to affect the sound of various musical instruments. Kilmer is a member of the Brooklyn-based duo The Mast and has played with artists ranging from five-time Grammy winner Lauryn Hill to violin virtuoso and composer Simon Shaheen. Kilmer is currently working on his third season as music composer for comedian Louis C.K.’s popular FX television series Louie. The Science of Music will be held at 2 p.m. on April 14 and is included with museum admission.
