Gettin’ Jiggy with It – learning tips and tricks
The Mudville Grille was the place to be if you’re a lure angler in the waterways of Northeast Florida. Captains Tony Bozzella and Larry Miniard, both top charter fishing guides, unlocked the secrets to catching the species that matter most to inshore anglers at the Gettin’ Jiggy seminar, held March 15.
Detailing season to season tips, the pros taught everything from lure choices to approaching flats, casting, rod and reel choices and the best times to be on the water. The seminar, brought to anglers through generous support of Roberts Southbank Pharmacy and Mudville Grille, is part of the programming offered by In River or Ocean, a local nonprofit dedicated to the conservation of the marine environment and to the memory of Clay Roberts.
