Brain Brawl championship won by Junior ROTC team

Bishop Kenny High School’s Navy Junior ROTC recently won the national “Brain Brawl” championship – for the second time. The team of Alec Sharpe, Anton Whiteford, Rafael Murphy, Weston Miller and Jacob Pewitt competed in astronomy, navigation, naval history and oceanography. Last year, the team placed second at the championships. During the inaugural year in 2011, the group placed first.
