A record-breaking season for JDRF

The themed “One Night” masquerade ball drew glances of intrigue at the 14th Annual Miracles Gala at the Sawgrass Marriott in Ponte Vedra Beach, held Oct.11. The event drew hundreds of patrons who supported the mission to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure Type 1 Diabetes (T1D).

“On behalf of the JDRF North Florida Chapter, and the children and families we serve, we would like to thank Rick Cox, Corporate Honoree, Vistakon and all of our generous sponsors, and all of our guests for the remarkable support this year for our 14th Annual Miracles Gala. The Gala, auction, and Fund A Cure were tremendous successes, raising over $360,000 for Type 1 diabetes research! This is a record for the North Florida Chapter,” said Candace Monroe, JDRF Development Manager.
