Annual wine festival funds charitable program
Catholic Charities hosted its 11th Annual Festival D’Vine fundraising event on Nov. 8 offering more than 200 wines from Ovinté for tasting and purchase. Held in Treaty Oak Park on the Southbank for the third year in a row, the festival brought the wares of 26 of Jacksonville’s restaurants to more than 800 guests. The event raised an anticipated $100,000 for the Catholic Charities Emergency Assistance Program, which has a goal of preventing homelessness by helping families facing eviction to remain in their homes.
