New York Times best-selling author Mary Kay Andrews is coming to the Main Library, Tuesday, June 2, for a talk and book signing to promote her new novel, “Beach Town,” which will be released May 19. The general event, free and open to the public, will be at 6:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room. A private meet and greet reception (ticketed event) sponsored by the Jacksonville Public Library Foundation will be at 5 p.m., prior to the public event in The Lounge at 303 North. Her best-sellers include “Save the Date,” “Ladies’ Night,” “Spring Fever,” “Summer Rental,” “The Fixer Upper,” “Deep Dish,” “Blue Christmas,” “Savannah Breeze,” “Hissy Fit,” “Little Bitty Lies” and “Savannah Blues.” Andrews also wrote mysteries under her real name, Kathy Hogan Trocheck. A Florida native and former journalist for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, she divides her time between home in Atlanta and a restored beach house on Tybee Island, Georgia.
