Signature event doubles funds Raised

Signature Chefs Auction, held last month at The Florida Yacht Club for more than 200 guests, raised $126,000 for March of Dimes — a figure double the revenue from 2011, according to event organizers. Honorary Chairs Susan Gentry of San Jose, along with her daughter Alison Gentry Hiers, DVM and Nancy Chartrand and Meredith Chartrand Frisch of the Chartrand Foundation were all integral in the success of the event. “Thanks to the generous support of Jacksonville businesses that provided wonderful items for the silent auction and the outstanding leadership of our volunteer committee, headed by Amy Harrison Turci, the event was outstanding,” according to March of Dimes Northeast Florida Division Board Chair Scott Coble. “We are deeply grateful to our sponsors and everyone who donated to this year’s Signature Chefs Auction.”
