Student Volunteer of the Year Martha Coro receives her International Baccalaureate pin from Patricia Schneider

A select group of academically talented juniors at Wolfson High School proudly participated in the school’s inaugural International Baccalaureate Programme Pinning Ceremony at The University Club in November. The 38 students who were pinned will go on to become Wolfson’s first class to graduate with an IB Diploma designation.

The students have worked rigorously since the 9th grade to achieve this milestone and are currently entrenched in their IB coursework and testing. In addition to managing her classwork, Martha Coro of the Southside was recently named Duval County High School Student Volunteer of the Year, and is now in the running for the State of Florida Volunteer of the Year award.
