Jacksonville Junior League honored as a champion for Speech & Hearing

The Junior League of Jacksonville and Wells Fargo Bank were the honorees last month at the 2nd annual Champions for Speech & Hearing luncheon at St. John’s Cathedral.
“The Junior League was honored to be recognized for our role in helping found the organization,” said Meg Sacks, immediate past president of the League. “The Speech &Hearing Center is an important resource for the Jacksonville community, and especially its focus in helping children continues the spirit of The Junior League’s focus, which is to help women and children through committed volunteerism.” The Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center, located at 1128 N. Laura Street, has served the area for over 60 years, providing quality professional care to all individuals with hearing, speech and/or language disorders.
