Celebrating community outreach with a night of giving

The Rotary Club of San Jose delivered on its promise to serve the community, as some of Jacksonville’s most notable nonprofits received checks to fulfill their missions. Rogers Joseph, current Treasurer said, “It’s a culmination of work and fundraisers and it’s not just about money. We’re now deciding where the funding will go and many will receive the help they need.” A sample list of recipients includes: Angelwood, Special Olympics of Duval County, Pine Castle, Guardian Catholic Schools, YoungLife and The Senior Life Foundation to name a few. The Night of Giving was held June 18 at the San Jose Country Club.
