Two local soccer players on Team USA in Spain

Two Westside Soccer Club Academy players, Giuseppe Carr and Noah Eaton, played on Team USA in the Global Coerver Cup Tournament in celebration of 30 years of Coerver® Coaching. Carr and Eaton joined eight other soccer players from Orlando, Tampa and Miami, representing Jacksonville, Florida and the United States to play teams from 30 countries in Madrid, Spain in mid-April. The U.S. team beat Spain, Tunisia and the Republic of Ireland on the first day, lost to England on the second day, then played Tunisia again to advance to the semi-finals, finally coming up against and losing to Madrid South in the finals.
