Annual Artscapade helps pediatric heart patients
The Glass Factory on Myrtle Ave. pulsated with life the evening of Oct. 25, as supporters gathered for Patrons of the Hearts’ 15 annual Artscapade, an event to help raise money for pediatric heart patients.
Splashes of colorful art throughout the venue engaged the eyes of the attendees, while they listened to live music, shared conversations with friends old and new, and sated their palates with food and cocktails. The evening was a celebration of the new lives of the children Patrons of the Heart has served and the donors that make it possible.
The non-profit helps children around the world with congenital heart defects to be evaluated, treated and receive life-saving surgery at Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
Patrons of the Hearts is a partnership between the University of Florida Pediatric Cardiovascular Center, Wolfson Children’s Hospital and the Jacksonville community.
