Episcopal School of Jacksonville seniors Kate Adams, Ella Bisher, Sean Ramsey and William Volen have been named National Merit Scholar Semifinalists. High school students enter the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT), and meeting additional requirements. The nationwide pool of semifinalists, representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, includes the highest-scoring entrants in each state. These four students will be eligible to compete for recognition and scholarships through the National Merit program. Finalists will be announced in early spring.
