The first Jacksonville Lantern Parade debuts on April 7th. The parade will begin at Riverside Arts Market and extend to The Landing .

To participate you just need a lantern. The Art Center will be hosting a series of LANTERN MAKING WORKSHOPS in February and March to get you ready to participate. Workshops will include adding decorations to customize a commercial lantern, while others will be crafting a lantern from scratch.

Workshops are suitable for adults or children accompanied by an adult. Cost is $25 and you will leave with a parade ready lantern.
