Rotary Club of San Marco members met June 23 at Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church to celebrate the past year and welcome incoming president Hannah Windsor.
Immediate Past President Meg Folds ceremoniously passed the gavel to Windsor at the Tuesday morning meeting after Windsor was sworn in to her new duties as Rotary president by District Governor-Elect Ed Lombard.
“Rotary is best when people show up, pitch in and care about one another, and this club is full of people who do exactly that,” Windsor said in her first address as president. “…Rotary has given me so much more than I ever expected when I first joined: It has given me friendships, opportunities to serve and the privilege of working alongside people who genuinely want to make our community better. I’m grateful to be following in the footsteps of leaders who have built such a special platform.”

Rotarians also commended two individuals whose contributions and support made significant impact not just for the Rotary but for the community in the 2025-26 year: Dr. Tony Potochick was named Rotarian of the Year, while Ike Sherlock was recognized as the Rotary Partner of the Year.
Alongside Windsor, a new slate of officers for the 2026-27 were introduced, including Thatcher Madelly (president elect), Logan McEwen (secretary, treasurer), Tony Potochick (sergeant-at-arms), Meg Folds (immediate past president), Nicole Grant (foundation chair), Ed Parrish (membership chair), Zach Ammon (service chair), Britt Hester (public relations) and L.E. Spradlin (social chair).
