Avondale resident named Soccer Player of Year
Sue Anderson, a senior at The Episcopal School of Jacksonville, has been named the Times-Union All-First Coast Girls Soccer Player of the Year. Anderson, who has committed to Elon University, N. Car., is hoping to win a starting position there her freshman year. The Avondale resident had represented the North squad at the Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-Star Game in March, where she was named MVP.
