Each year, local mom and music industry veteran Dove Hagan offers a free summer camp called The Butterfly Exchange Project for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

A singer-songwriter, holistic vocal coach and founder of the Melody and Harmony Foundation, Dove Hagan established The Butterfly Exchange Project in 2011. Each summer, she coaches children with ASD to write original music and create a music video.

The Butterfly Exchange Project will begin the week of August 1st, and is now accepting applications at melodyandharmonymusic.org.

In a ceremony honoring Dove’s work in music, the community is invited to her official entertainment company launch. The evening will include live performances, dinner and networking to highlight healing through music.

The event is Saturday, April 16th, from 6-9 p.m., at the University Club at 1301 Riverplace Boulevard, 27th Floor.

Tickets are $40 and can be purchased at DoveHagan.Eventbrite.com.
