Pine Castle at TCC
The biggest day in horse racing coincided with the biggest day of fundraising for Pine Castle, as the second annual “Run for the Roses” soiree took place at the Timuquana Country Club May 3. Patrons donned their best with the ladies wearing their best Derby hats as the gents tied up bowties, some even pulled out seersucker suits for the occasion. The guests celebrated the races with traditional Derby dining options and mint juleps all while supporting the silent auction and goals of the organization.
Since 1952, Pine Castle has been enriching the lives of people with developmental and acquired disabilities by providing opportunities to learn, work and lead meaningful lives in the Northeast Florida community. Funds raised help to support the mission of the school and continue programming at the school to help
nurture the spirits of those they serve.
