Participants attended informational sessions on writing, editing, designing, photography, social media, leadership skills, and more in order to continue to develop their skill sets to best contribute to their staff.

In addition to convention events, the group toured historic sites such as Ford’s Theatre, the White House, the Smithsonian Museum of American History, National Botanic Garden, National Portrait Gallery and National Zoo. They also visited the monuments on the National Mall and met Congressman John Rutherford at the Capitol building.
