Based on E.L. Doctorow’s novel, the timeless production was written by the award-winning composer/lyricist team of Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens and by noted playwright Terrence McNally.

Winner of several Tony awards and other accolades, this toe-tapping musical weaves together three distinctly American tales – those of a stifled upper-class wife, a determined Jewish immigrant and a daring young Harlem musician – who together confront timeless contradictions such as wealth and poverty, freedom and prejudice, and hope and despair.
This program is for children birth to 5 years with an adult caregiver. The program includes stories, books, fingerplays, nursery rhymes, and songs that promote language development, vocabulary building, and comprehension.

This is an ongoing class that meets every Friday for all artists levels. The class will focus on pastels, materials and techniques.
Students will work from a live model and still life setups on a rotating basis using various types of soft pastels and supports. Check our website for the recommended supply list.
