It was ladies’ night at the first community event at Saint John’s Cathedral’s Center for Wellbeing (CfW) last month.

CfW hosted “More Than a Gal(a): Women’s Only Dance Party” in the cathedral’s Taliaferro Hall on Saturday, May 17, celebrating the “shared collective strength and resilience of women of all ages and stages.”

The evening offered free child and adult care and complimentary food and drinks with no dress code, allowing women to come as they were and dance the night away with friends new and old.

Hakimian Holdings sponsored the event. The Center for Wellbeing opened in March and provides free resources focusing on wellbeing for mind, body and spirit. It is located on the third floor of Saint John’s Cathedral House.
