Children receiving services from Sulzbacher Village enjoyed an early morning Back-to-School shopping trip to Old Navy at River City Marketplace on Aug. 2, 2019. This marks the tenth year that Old Navy opened its doors early to provide a generously discounted shopping trip.

Each child received a $50 gift card to spend on new clothing to wear on his or her first day of school. The children arrived via bus, accompanied by Sulzbacher staff members and their parents while shopping. Old Navy staff also assisted with the early morning shopping.

Following the shopping trip, the children returned to Sulzbacher Village and enjoyed a cookout celebrating the beginning of the school year. Volunteers from Prudential assisting in the event that included hamburgers and hotdogs, face painting, and yard games.

Sulzbacher provides the opportunity for homeless men, women and children to achieve a better life.
