January 5 marked the emerald anniversary for West Dentistry, under the leadership of solo practitioner and owner Dr. Jacqueline West.

The Park Street practice offers general and cosmetic services, providing a one-stop shop for its patients, whether it’s routine cleanings, dental surgery or cosmetic procedures.

“I’m just full of gratitude; it’s been quite a journey,” West said.

Throughout these 20 years, West has remained at the same location, though she acquired an additional practice in 2015, folding those patients into her existing office two years later following a substantial expansion. This expansion created the space for a new, two-story waiting room, three additional dental chairs and meeting and break rooms for staff. West has a surgeon that rotates through her practice and that expansion also allowed her to bring those surgeries in-house so her patients wouldn’t have to travel elsewhere for their surgeries.

Looking forward, West plans to continue providing the same quality service to her patients at her Riverside location, including the cosmetic side of her practice, from clear aligners and porcelain veneers to teeth whitening and gum contouring – and more.

“That’s kind of the fun part over doing fillings all day,” West said.

West said something as simple as a smile can have a profound impact on someone’s life and she enjoys working with patients on their “smile makeovers.”

“It really does change people’s personalities,” West said. “It changes how they feel about themselves, it changes their dating lives or marriages. Everything.”

West Dentistry is currently accepting new patients. It is located at 2301 Park Street.
