San Marco Bookstore hosts “Frozen” food donation
Disney’s Frozen Queen Elsa and Princess Anna (real sisters Anna Faith and Lexie Grace Carlson of New Smyrna Beach) made an appearance at San Marco Bookstore on Dec. 6. More than 600 attended the meet and greet that doubled as a benefit for Second Harvest Food Bank.
“In all, our staff and customers donated over 1400 pounds of [non-perishable] food, valued at over $2,700,” said Desiree Bailey, owner of San Marco Bookstore. “We actually had people come in just to see the girls! They live in New Smyrna Beach, but travel all over the world. They have already entertained the royal family of Saudi Arabia, etc.”
