Mayo Chosen for Florida 500 List
Michael A. Mayo, president and CEO of Baptist Health, was named to “Florida Trend” magazine’s “Florida 500” list of the state’s 500 most influential business leaders. Mayo was among the 27 listed in the Life Sciences category, selected for community impact, best practices and leadership. Mayo has more than 32 years of health care executive experience and has been at the helm of Baptist Health since June 2021.
“It’s an honor to be included in the ‘Florida 500’ list of leaders,” said Mayo. “Particularly as it champions community impact, because the community is at the heart of everything we do at Baptist Health, including training the next generation of health care leaders to advocate for the needs of the communities in which they live and work.”
