APR Energy® and the John and Suzanne Campion Foundation donated a total of $15,000 to the Sulzbacher Center and the Children’s Home Society just in time for the holidays. Both nonprofits experience upticks in people needing help during the holiday months.
The Children’s Home Society is a child welfare organization that provides counseling and health services to kids and teens, connects foster parents to children in need and runs food pantries, among other things. The Sulzbacher Center is Northeast Florida’s largest provider of comprehensive services for homeless men, women and children, according to the group’s website.
Children’s Home Society received $5,000 to buy Christmas gifts for local children in need, while the Sulzbacher Center received $10,000 to help the shelter pay for toy-filled stockings and $100 gift cards for 100 homeless students.

APR Energy® Founder and Chairman John Campion was elected chairman of the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) board of directors in December 2018 and formally assumed the role of Jan. 1, 2019. The John and Suzanne Campion Foundation focuses on health, education and nutrition for the less privileged.
