Tradition reigned at the 36th annual Change of Command Ceremony and Dinner at Epping Forest Yacht and Country Club April 5 as leaders, membership and guests reunited along the banks of the St. Johns River to celebrate the raising of the flag – a symbol of the next commodore to rise to command.

The executive officers were announced and Ryan Rafferty relieved Jody Brandenburg as commodore. Rafferty is the 28th commodore of Epping Forest Yacht and Country Club. Nathan Adams assumed the 2024-25 executive position of vice commodore; Kristen Inman, rear commodore; Brian Shell, fleet captain; and Jody Brandenburg, immediate past commodore.
