Sponsored by Community First, the Jacksonville Light Boat Parade and fireworks show is a longstanding tradition, which began as a celebration of the Gator Bowl. This year the event kicks off the 72nd annual Taxslayer Gator Bowl, which will be held Saturday, Dec. 31 at EverBank Field. Boaters may register for free by Dec. 16 at lightboatparade.com.
