Jessica Osiadacz, LCSW, was promoted to Chief Girl Experience Officer (CGEO) of The Girl Scouts of Gateway Council (GSGC) on July 8, 2022. CGEO is a new position at the Council, created to ensure that the girl experience was guiding the strategic direction of the organization. The GSGC serves nearly 10,000 girls across 35 North Florida counties.

As CGEO, Osiadacz is responsible for defining and executing the organization’s program strategy, and driving the development of inclusive, innovative and relevant Council-led programs that fulfill the Girl Scout mission. She will lead teams to develop and implement multiple program pillars: Girl Scouts’ highest awards, the Girl Scout Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards; Destinations, the organization’s travel program; Community Development Troops; Get REAL! Mentoring Program; summer camp; regional program strategies; and regional partnerships.

“Our mission at Girl Scouts of Gateway Council is to celebrate women and girls every day, and we are especially excited to do so as we announce Jessica’s continued growth within this important role,” said Lindalee Cookingham, COO of GSGC. “Jessica works extremely hard, and we could not be prouder of how she has grown and taken the lead on developing important programming for Girl Scouts here in North Florida since she joined us over three years ago. As CGEO, she will spearhead even more timely programming and experiences for our girls, and we cannot wait to see her shine.”

Having previously served as the Vice President of Girl Experience, she led teams that established formal partnerships with subject matter experts in the content areas of STEM, life skills, entrepreneurship and outdoors to bring the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls across North Florida and the Panhandle. She also piloted the Mental Health Ambassador program, and secured programmatic grants to expand and enrich the girl experience.

Osiadacz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in community mental health initiatives, specializing in trauma-informed care and early childhood development. In addition to her new role, Osiadacz actively serves the Northeast Florida community through the Junior League of Jacksonville, First Coast Girls Initiative, NextUp Jax, the Wolfson Children’s Challenge Committee and the Seminole Boosters.
