Shannon Nazworth, President & CEO of Ability Housing, has been selected as one of GlobeSt.com’s Women of Influence for 2022. The program honors women in commercial real estate who impact the market in innovative ways and significantly drive the industry to new heights through their outstanding success. Nazworth is one of 11 women across the United States recognized in the Humanitarian category.

“I’m honored to be recognized as one of GlobeSt.’s Women of Influence this year,” said Shannon Nazworth, president and CEO of Ability Housing. “More importantly, I’m proud to be able to represent and share Ability Housing’s mission — to build strong communities where everyone has a home — among such an accomplished list of fellow honorees.”

GlobeSt.com applauded Nazworth’s dedication to serving individuals and families who have been priced out of the dignity that comes with having a home. Among her peers in the commercial real estate industry, she is a leading voice in the conversation about the affordable housing crisis in Florida and throughout the nation. Under her leadership, the organization’s portfolio of properties has grown more than 2,000% — expanding from one group home for six adults with developmental disabilities, to more than 800 multifamily and scattered-site units that house more than 1,500 Floridians.
