Seamark Ranch is opening two new homes at its nurturing Christian home and school that gives children from families in crisis the tools they need for a brighter future. The two additional homes, one for boys and one for girls, were recently completed. Under the leadership of MasterCraft Builder Group, Seamark had a number of generous local sub-contractors donate their time and services to make this dream become a reality, saving tens of thousands of dollars in construction costs. Seamark Ranch held a blessing of the homes on April 18 in anticipation of its grand opening celebration.

Seamark Ranch provides a traditional home environment where each child can experience the security of boundaries and the acceptance of unconditional love. The Seamark approach is therapy-based and individualized with a focus on healing wounds and helping children prosper in faith, in school and in the community.

“Seamark’s approach is holistic, as our programs are aimed at every aspect of each child’s development,” Fred Meiners, executive director, said.

Seamark Ranch is currently raising $600,000 to open and operate both homes.  $300,000 is needed for staffing and other operating costs for the first two years, and $300,000 will provide necessary transportation, equipment, furnishings and supplies.
