Stein Mart hosted an exclusive Spa Day on Jan. 22, 2019, for nine local children (Dreamers) battling life-threatening illnesses and their mothers.

Each pair was greeted at Aveda Institute of Jacksonville off San Jose Boulevard for special spa treatments. They choose from a variety of services including manicures, pedicures, haircuts and makeup.

Stein Mart provided each Dreamer and mom with a tote full of beauty supplies and gifts. The Women’s Board of Dreams Come True helped coordinate special activities and capture mother-daughter photos. Following their spa treatments, everyone enjoyed dinner at Enza’s Italian Restaurant hosted by the Women’s Board of Dreams Come True.

Stein Mart’s Spa Day was part of Dreams Come True’s Special Times program, which provides dream children and their families a time to momentarily forget the realities of life-threatening illnesses. It reminds the children and their families that they are special and loved, both before and after a dream is fulfilled. For more than 20 years, Stein Mart has hosted a Special Times celebration annually for the children of Dreams Come True.
