Nemours Children’s Health, Jacksonville hosted its annual Beyond Christmas event on Sunday, Dec. 21, welcoming patients and community families for a large-scale holiday toy giveaway. The event distributed $100,000 worth of toys to hundreds of children, helping ease the burden on families whose focus during the holidays is often centered on medical care.

The event marked the third time in four years that Nemours Children’s has been the beneficiary of Beyond Christmas. Funded by Overwatch Partners co-founder Rackham Rishel and coordinated with Christian hip-hop artist Brinson, the celebration was the largest toy giveaway across the Nemours Children’s Health system, bringing holiday joy to children receiving treatment and families throughout the Jacksonville community.
