Greenscape of Jacksonville celebrated its 50th anniversary in master style at the 2025 Root Ball, held at The River Club on Saturday, April 12.

The Master’s Tournament-themed evening included a five-hole mini golf tournament and a live and silent auction before guests moved on to enjoy dinner and the rest of the evening.

District 5 City Councilmember Joe Carlucci was among the many notable Jacksonville faces who attended the evening, including former Jacksonville Mayor John Peyton and City of Jacksonville Chief Sustainability Officer Ashantae Green.

In a brief address, Carlucci congratulated Greenscape of Jacksonville on this momentous anniversary.

“That’s an amazing legacy and hopefully just the beginning of your commitment to Jacksonville’s tree canopy,” Carlucci said. “…Here’s to the next 50 years, preserving what matters, making a lasting impact for generations to come.”

This milestone anniversary celebration was chaired by Tiffany Davis.
