San Marco Merchants Association and San Marco Preservation Society squared off in a good old-fashioned rivalry softball game for bragging rights at the Hendricks Avenue baseball field last month.

The Merchants and the Residents met on the diamond on Saturday, Aug. 16 as part of the year-long community celebration, hosted by the San Marco Centennial Committee. Ultimately, the Residents won the game – and the bragging rights – in a 6-to-3 victory.
