The Assumption Catholic School Track and Field team wrapped up their 2024-25 season on a high note by bringing home 78 ribbons from the track meet held at Providence Day School on Wednesday, March 5.

Assumption track and field athletes set nearly 70 personal records at the track meet, across four events: running, jumping, throwing and hurdling.

The girls’ team was the meet’s overall champions, while the boys’ team finished fourth.

Three Assumption track athletes will be traveling to Bradenton, Florida this month to compete in the FLYRA Middle School State Track and Field Championship: Nolan Trunell-Laputka (discus), Graziana Gowdy (3,000 meter and 1,500 meter) and Evelyn Slattery (1,500 meter).
